Main asset
Young shoots are pink in spring. The foliage is light, light green in summer, and blushes again before falling in October.
Remarks
The leaves resemble those of the Judas tree, hence its Latin name (Cercidiphyllum = leaves of Cercis).
Deciduous tree of Chinese origin, with heart-shaped leaves. The leaves turn pink in fall, and have a slight smell of caramel.
