Main asset

A long lasting bloom in late summer, passing through all shades from white to red, and a decorative bark.

Prune short at the end of winter to keep a branched habit and promote flowering, or at the contrary release 3-4 trunks to form in multistem, then prune the upper branches.

Deciduous shrub of Chinese origin, producing at the end of summer a myriad of white flowers, perfumed and melliferous, then turning pink then red. The light beige bark, which exfoliates in strips, is decorative in winter.
