Spectacular flowering in summer

Remarks

Prefers warm situations for a good flowering. The lignification of late summer shoots is often insufficient, causing the death of the terminal parts in winter. This does not handicap the growth or subsequent flowering. Prune in march.

The flowering is abundant and early. The very bright red trumpets bloom abundantly from June, and then renew themselves until September.

Like the other Campsis, this climber is fixed on its own thanks to its crampons.

Uses: Fencing mesh, tonelles, walls with trellising, shrub on support, existing tree colonization.
