A small, hardy shrub, easy to live with, to use in hedge for its dark purple foliage, to make contrast with clear shrubs.
Remarks
Shrub version of Prunus 'Pissardii', with slightly darker foliage and white bloom.
Deciduous shrub or small tree of slow growth, with red obovate new leaves turning dark purple. The pinkish then white flowers appear in May, followed by small edible black cherries.
