Fast-growing shrub, forming a dense hiding foliage, excellent hedge plant or used isolated or in group of 3-5 plants. Good resistance to coastal conditions (salt), hardiness a little higher than tenuifolium (-12/-15 °C) if the soil is draining.
Shrub close to Pittosporum tenuifolium, but with longer leaves and a little faster growth. Prune twice a year in hedges, in early summer and early autumn.
Evergreen shrub of Chinese origin with narrow obovate leaves, clear green in spring becoming medium green from summer to winter. Spring bloom in small cream white bells becoming yellow, discreet but very fragrant.
