Main asset
Sturdy upright plant with bright brown-purple foliage, to be associated with rounded plants, foliage or clear flowers (yellow or white), white pebbles or mineral mulch for a contrasting effect.
Remarks
In sufficiently hot climate, the purple foliage is overcome in summer with large clusters of red flowers.
Large, very vigorous Phormium, propagated by seedling, more hardy than vegetatively propagated varieties. Large purple dark brown leaves, forming an erect tuft, about 2.5 meters.
