Main asset
Sturdy erect plant, with dark brown-black bright foliage, to associate with round shaped plants, clear foliages or flowers (yellow or white) for a contrast effect.
Remarks
In sufficiently hot climate, the black foliage is overcome in summer with large clusters of red flowers.
Large, vigorous Phormium, improvement of 'Purpureum' selected by Hillier Nurseries (2006). Large dark brown leaves almost black, forming an upright tuft, about 2 meters.
