Hardy plant up to zone 7, very resistant to drought, growing in any soil even degraded (pebbles, rubble). Original flowering of bright color, melliferous.
Prune the plant just after flowering (July) to maintain a rounded shape. Never return to old wood (prune over a leafy bud).
Small evergreen shrub of East-Mediterranean origin. Very resistant to drought, its shoots and underside of leaves are whitish and hairy. Leaves, oval, are gray-yellow to silver-gray. Mid-spring, the clusters rise, and carry many bright yellow flowers, bilabiate, melliferous.
