Very graphic plant, plant in groups of 3 to 5 shrubs for a mass effect. Also suitable for terrace planters.
Shrub of East-Asian origin, slow-growing, evergreen foliage with changing colors red from autumn to spring, green in summer. The stems, little branched, bear in the middle of summer large conical clusters of small white star-shaped flowers, melliferous, followed by red berries persisting until winter.
