Main asset

Alternative to Boxwood to make medium hedges or topiary forms, but can also be left unpruned to form an evergreen "ruffled" shrub.

Remarks

The plant tends to loose basal leaves. To avoid this phenomenon, pruning must be regular so that the plant does not form old wood and always restarts easily after pruning, ideally twice a year after the flowering (end of June-beginning of July) and in the beginning of autumn.

Evergreen shrub with dense foliage, consisting of small glossy dark green leaves, round. In the middle of spring, tiny creamy white tubular flowers appear, a little scented. They are followed by purple spherical berries.
