Spectacular flowering in early autumn, on arched branches bending under the weight of flowers.
Remarks
This shrub needs to be pruned back to the soil level every year in November, and behaves a bit like a perennial. Very vigorous, it grows from the base each spring and reaches about 2 meters high in a few months.
Vigorous shrub with long straight branches arched, from the base. Deciduous leaves with 3 leaflets, dark green. In early autumn, the shrub is covered with clusters of purple papilionaceous flowers.
