Main asset
Large single flowers, purple, appear without stop until early autumn. The darkest of all Lavateras.
Remarks
Prune very short in early spring (early April) when the vegetation starts, to favor new flowering stems. Mulch in winter in hardiness USDA zones 8 and under.
Deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub with a short lifespan, very vigorous, able to fill an empty space from the first year. Garden Tree-Mallow prefer warm, sunny situations, and poor and imperatively draining soils.
