Very dense hedge plant, with a beautiful pinkish white honeydew flowering, followed by small edible cherries appreciated by birds, orange-colored autumn colors.
Can be pruned in late winter to contain its extension in width. Sometimes used as a rootstock to decrease the vigor of varieties of Cherry trees.
This small Cherry tree is a native species of Central Asia, very hardy. It is a solid, easy to cultivate plant, and is particularly used in hedges, rustic or mixed, but also as small fruit in the orchard.
