Main asset

Purple foliage almost black, good branching giving a shrub much more dense and round shaped than traditional varieties like 'Diabolo'.

Remarks

Prune back shortly in early spring to encourage vigorous and more colorful shoots. Selection Hortival, 2014.

Sapho

Shrub of medium size, well branched, with very dark purple foliage turning orange red in autumn. The spring blossoming, in pinkish white umbels, is followed by small red fruits.
