Main asset
Large round Eucalyptus-blue leaves in summer, on red petioles, and contrasting with young purple shoots. Beautiful autumn colors.
Remarks
Vigorous shrub (shoots more than 1 meter per year), prune back shortly at the end of winter to enjoy the brilliant color of its young shoots. Good resistance to drought.
Recent Dutch variety found in a seedling of Cotinus coggygria at Nurseries H. Kolster.
Vigorous, it is interesting for its young purple shoots standing out on the bluish mature foliage, giving a color contrast uncommon in shrubs. In autumn, the entire shrub becomes fluorescent red.
