Main asset
Perfume very powerful, capable of embalming at several meters without being stubborn, with an fragrance close to jasmine. 'Kleim's Hardy' is easier to grow than other "hardy" varieties like 'Crown Jewel', and therefore better adapted outdoors.
Remarks
Choose a sheltered place, facing South or South-West, luminous. The substrate must always be moist but aerated, the incorporation of coconut fiber gives good results.
GARDENIA jasminoides is an acidophilous shrub native to tropical China. 'Kleim's Hardy' is a relatively hardy North American selection, able to withstand temperatures around -10 °C.
