Solid, easy plant, withstanding pollution and salted spray, widely used in towns or coastal locations for these reasons, in low-sized monospecific hedges, to be trimmed twice a year (end of June and beginning of October).
Plant in a sheltered situation from cold winds in zones 6 and 7. It behaves better in deep soil, not too acidic, remaining humid in summer (and is less susceptible to Cochineal and Powdery mildew under these conditions)
Dense, bushy, shrub of low development, with small evergreen dark leaves of 2 cm. Its compact habit makes it an interesting plant for low hedges, particularly to replace Boxwood.
