Solid, easy plant, withstanding pollution and salted spray, widely used in towns or coastal locations for these reasons, in low or medium-sized monospecific hedges, to be trimmed twice a year (end of June and beginning of October).
Plant in a sheltered situation from cold winds in zones 6 and 7. It behaves better in deep soil, not too acidic, remaining humid in summer (and is less susceptible to Cochineal and Powdery mildew under these conditions)
Dense, bushy, rounded shrub with evergreen foliage medium green amply margined with bright yellow. The flowering of late spring, discreet, is followed by pink fruits opening on bright orange aril in autumn.
