One of the most floriferous perennial Geraniums, pure dark blue color with white heart, very aesthetic. Many awards, including the "Plant of the Centenary" from the Royal Horticultural Society, at the 2013 Chelsea Flower Show.
The plant forms long roots that provide good resistance to drought, but which can depress in winter in asphyxiating soil.
English selection from Geranium himalayense x Geranium wallichianum 'Buxton's Variety'. This non-sucking perennial Geranium quickly forms a small rounded bush, with uninterrupted flowering (except arid weather) from June to October, in large pure blue flowers with a white center, with 5 large petals, 6 cm Ø.
