Very regular pink ball-shaped inflorescences of sterile flowers, historical variety of good vigor and average height (1.50 m).
Flowering on the wood of the previous year, do not prune the new shoots after mid-July.
This medium size variety was selected by Henri Cayeux (Le Havre, France) in 1927. First variety with a so intense color, 'Merveille' has experienced major success between the two world wars, and then gave by mutation a purple variety with red flowers, 'Merveille Sanguine'.
