The variety 'Compactum' is a small shrub, and performs well in low shrub beds or massive pots.
Native shrub, very hardy and tolerent to drought and calcareous soils. Helps the auxiliary fauna.
Compact form of Viburnum opulus, slow growing. The leaves are deciduous, lobed, medium green and blush in autumn. The pure white cymes appear in May-June with small and fertile flowers surrounded by large sterile flowers. They are followed by inedible red berries in September-October.
