Native from New Zealand, Cordyline australis is a long life Agavaceae, which prefers the remaining wet soils. Its hardiness is limited, but better than the Cordyline indivisa with larger leaves, with which it is often confused.
'Pink Passion' is a garden variety with dark purple leaves margined with bright pink.
