Main asset
Long flowering plant very drought resistant once established. Typical of Mediterranean gardens.
Remarks
Cultivate in pots in USDA zone <8. The reflowering is promoted by the removal of fruits and summer irrigation.
Compact horticultural hybrid, showing remarkable scarlet bottlebrush-like spikes of 10-15 cm long in mid-April. The best reflowering in Callistemon. Pruning is required after flowering to maintain the compactness of the plant.
