Remarks
Cross-pollination (with other varieties of Callicarpa) promotes fruiting.
Deciduous Shrub native of China, with large obovate leaves of 15-18 cm, orange in spring becoming green in summer, turning yellow in autumn.
Summer flowering of small pale pink flowers grouped in cymes, followed by bluish purple berries, not eatten by birds so persisting until winter.
