Vigorous shrub, ornamental from spring to autumn, for defensive hedges up to 2 meters height.
Remarks
Hybrid Berberis thunbergii x Berberis vulgaris. Sensitive to powdery mildew in windy or arid conditions.
Vigorous thorny deciduous shrub with purple foliage. Pale yellow bloom in May-June, followed by red ovoid berries in late summer.
