This plant accepts regular pruning. With its fine foliage, it can be used to form topiaries, or low to medium hedges in maritime climates.

This Pittosporum has an erect shape and dense foliage. Its leaves, smaller than all P. tenuifolium, are grayish green and carried by black stems, giving it a very light original appearance. Flowering, discreet, takes place in June ; purple flowers smell like honey.
