Dark purple spikes, 3 to 4 cm high, from May to July, with short sterile bracts (about 1 cm) bright pink. The floral stems are quite short, which keeps the compact silhouette of the shrub. In good conditions, a second flowering takes place at the end of summer.
Prune very short after flowering (July), above the 3-4 lowest green shoots on the branches but never back to the old wood, to keep a harmonious shape. With this pruning once a year, French Lavenders can live 10-12 years.
French Lavender with compact habit, purple flowering surmounted by bright pink bracts, reblooming in favorable conditions.
