The very dark foliage does not burn in the sun even in the Mediterranean area : a rare purple tree for the southern zone (with the Albizia julibrissin 'Summer Chocolate').
Remarks
Large tree with rapid growth.
Norway-Maple with 5 lobes palmate leaves, dark purple throughout the season, becoming red-orange in autumn.
In March-April, it produces corymbs of small yellow flowers tinged with bright red.
