A spectacular flowering (similar Manna ash), fragrant. A small sized tree, suitable for all gardens.
Remove the lower branches to encourage a tree-like habit. Flowering and fruiting are best in areas with hot summers.
Small deciduous tree, with large entire elliptical leaves, opposite. In summer, the plant is covered of large pendent panicles of fragrant white flowers, 20 cm (8 in.) long. They are followed by small blue-black fruits, about 1.5 cm (1/2 in.) long. Needs acid soil.
