A compact, upright and dense cupressocyparis
It ramifies well from the base where it shows an original young foliage.
The growth and habit of this clone fits well with hedges but it is also a beautiful conifer to use as a specimen. With a wide and bushy habit, 'Blue Jean' produces several stem leaders and grows upright naturally, even as a young plant (a stake is useless). The blue shade of the bluish green foliage becomes more or less intense following cultivation conditions.
