Major variety in Pieris, the most sold, easy crop. Very beautiful colors in spring, when the young red shoots contrast with the clusters of white bells.
Plant for acid soil, aerated, remaining wet in summer, and exposure not too sunny or hot.
Small evergreen shrub of heather earth, rounded, orange-red obovate leaves becoming shiny dark green. The flowering takes place in early spring, in the form of hanging clusters of small bells, melliferous. 'Forest Flame' has an upright habit. Its pointed lanceolate leaves, finely toothed, are initially bright red, then turn pink, creamy white, and become so bright green.
