Very floriferous plant, supporting little limestone soils due to its parent Magnolia kobus. The leaves, narrow elliptic, remain bright green all season. The flower buds are very hairy, and visible on the plant at the end of autumn. Flowering, spectacular, is short in case of hot spring.
Hybrid of Magnolia kobus x M. stellata 'Rosea', selected in England in the middle of the XXth century. Can become a small tree.
Highly branched deciduous shrub with very abundant bloom of starry flowers with 12 narrow petals, bright pink with pale pink inside, appearing before the leaves.
