The Hydrangea paniculata the closest to the macrophylla, with the flowering duration of the paniculata.
Renault Nurseries breeding with rounded inflorescences of large sterile flowers with 4 petals, white quickly becoming pink then purple in late summer. The shape is very regular, enabling the production of original potted flowers.
