The thick panicles and appetizing color of VANILLE FRAISE ®, the port of the improved varieties that followed.
Novelty 2014. Photos SAPHO.
Breeting from Nurseries RENAULT presented as an improvement of VANILLE FRAISE ®. Like its parent, the panicles are well finished and plump. They begin to flower ivory in July, then go pink and finally red as a result of the fresh summer nights of July and August. FRAISE MELBA ® has much stronger branches, suporting the weight of the panicles even wet. Its foliage is dark, and becomes purple in autumn.
