A simple-flowered compact Hydrangea quercifolia
Very hardy plant, resistant, but the wood is a bit brittle (transport).
This Hydrangea variety is distinguished by its erect inflorescences formed by simple and sterile florets turning to pink at the end of the blossoming. Resembling to those of an oak, the leaves are very large, last a long time on the shrub and turn to dark burgundy red as early as end of august.
