Well-rounded habit like the recent Japanese Spirea, more compact than MAGIC CARPET® 'Walbuma' but more vigorous than MERLO® STAR 'Davcop01'. Stay well colored in summer.
Remarks
Prune shortly in late winter to encourage a vigorous and colorful growth.
This French selection (Jean-Paul Davasse) has a young foliage red becoming golden yellow in summer. Flowering in pink corymbs in late spring contrasts with the light foliage. In summer, the foliage remains yellow, the young shoots remaining red and purple if the growth is maintained.
