Plant requiring a draining soil, very resistant to drought, suckering, growing in any soil even degraded (pebbles, rubble). Original flowering, melliferous.
Prune the plant just after flowering (August) or at the end of winter to maintain a rounded shape.
Small evergreen shrub native to North Africa of South the Iberian Peninsula. Very resistant to drought, its shoots and underside of leaves are woolly whitish. The leaves, narrow, are greyish dark green. In late spring, pink-purple bilabiate flowers appear in the axils of the leaves.
