Main asset
Dark foliage and purple stems and petioles, contrasting with bright yellow flowers. This effect of contrast is accentuated further in autumn with the appearance of berries, very dark purple.
Remarks
Very solid plant, for draining soil, rockeries, or in pot. This series was initially launched for its perfect resistance to rust. Good hold in cut flower.
Hypericum from the MAGICAL® series of Kolster Nurseries (The Netherlands), this variety is strong, resistant to drought and diseases. Its young shoots are purple in spring, then the leaves turn dark green. The yellow bloom with clumps of prominent stamens begins in the summer, and continues in autumn when the purple berries appear.
