Dark green leaves very healthy, very dense and resistant to cold and wet periods, red flowering in summer.
Plant well suited to coastal areas. Prefer drained soils, opened exposure in the interior climates. Prune in early spring to keep compact.
The Escallonia organiensis have evergreen dark green quite large leaves (3 cm), more resistant to disease than varieties with small leaves. This variety has a dark pink flowering almost red, making it an ideal complement to Escallonia Iveyi whose shape is similar.
