The buds appear in April, and form small white balls resembling pearls. They hatch in May in large simple flowers of immaculate white, very numerous and completely covering the shrub.
The shrub has a deep rooting, and is resistant to drought. It is easy to grow, never sick and not attacked by pests.
EXOCHORDA x macrantha 'The Bride' is a very soft shaped variety, even weeping. Spring flowering is spectacular. The single flowers of Ø 3 cm are grouped by 5-10, with a remarkable pure white colour.
