Very bright color of young shoots and foliage, good branching giving a bush much more dense and rounded than the traditional varieties like 'Diabolo', well adapted for low shrub beds and pots.
Prune back short in early spring to promote a vigorous and colorful start. Bred by Pavel Schuch (Czech Republic), marketed by Hoogenraad (Netherlands).
Small, deciduous, broadly branched shrub with compact growth and dark foliage, up to 1 m high. The three-lobed toothed leaves are about half the size of 'Diabolo'. The young leaves are orange then become purple. They contrast with the corymbs of white flowers, in May-June.
