  • Type of products available: X/1/0P1L

Main asset

A vigorous climber, the reddest of all Trumpet Creepers.

Remarks

Better hardiness than CAMPSIS grandiflora. The lignification of late summer shoots is often insufficient, causing the death of the terminal parts in winter. This does not handicap the growth or subsequent flowering. Prune in march.

Vigorous deciduous climber originating from US South-East, usually climbing by aerial roots (but often needing to be tied). Flowering clusters of orange-yellow trumpets after July.
